A SWEET NURSERY

Following the maternity shoot, we went back to their house and I snapped a few detail shots of their office-turned-nursery.  Katie, the mom-to-be, has a great eye for design, so she created a nautical-themed room (plus a few owls).  She even sewed those pillows herself!

When I sent Katie these photos, I told her my hopes that these photos will help her remember this beautiful time in her life, where she’s in such high anticipation of the arrival of her son.  After all, creating this sweet nursery is all about welcoming the little guy home!

MATERNITY SHOOT IN PALM DESERT

My fiance’s high school friend and wife live in Palm Desert, so when they asked us to take some photos, I couldn’t be more excited about the beautiful backdrop.  This couple is special to me, not just because they’re dear friends, but also because I shot some engagement photos for them.  They’re now expecting their first baby (a boy!) and we can’t wait to meet the little guy!

FIND: AUSTIN & KATIE

Another adorable couple we shot at the FIND workshop – Austin & Katie.  She had the cutest outfit, and he owned some awesome cameras.  They were such a pleasure to shoot!

FIND: ASHLEY & MARSHALL

Back in December, I was able to also attend the Film is Not Dead Workshop in Hawaii hosted by the amazing Jonathan Canlas.  The workshop blew my mind – it was such a wonderful experience.  I met wonderful people, ate delicious food, and got to spend those few days talking about film ad nauseum.

This was one of the beautiful couples we got to shoot – Ashley and Marshall.  Ashley is a wonderful photographer in Oahu, and she wore her stunning Vera Wang wedding dress.  Marshall was such a trooper, wearing that suit in the heat!  They were wonderful to work with – here are some of my favorites from their shoot!

A BOHEMIAN CELEBRATION: PART TWO

I was pretty blown away with all the details that were brought to this set.  The outfits, the props, the flowers…they all were so cohesive and lovely.  It felt like we were transported – not at all like we were in LA!
